Mexico City
Off the Beaten track

Mexico City is a sprawling metropolis with more than 2000 colonias (neighborhoods)! You may have heard of some popular ones: Roma, Condesa and Centro Historico. However, we would show you 2 overlooked historic colonias: Santa Maria la Ribera and San Rafael. As we explore these colonias, we will provide insight to historical events, local life and more.

We’ll start by having a hot beverage accompanied with our favourite pastry while chatting and getting familiar with the group.

As we enter San Rafael we’ll taste some street food at one of our favourite stands in the neighborhood while learning about its history and architecture.

We’ll continue on to Santa Maria la Ribera to to see the main monument, and stop at a restaurant to try the most traditional dish from Oaxaca (A southeastern state considered to be the culinary capital of Mexico).

As we continue to explore and hopefully make more space in our stomach; we’ll try an ancestral drink called Pulque, one of the most traditional drinks in Mexico.

Before we say our goodbyes we will sit down for a refreshing michelada (alcoholic beverage), as we chat and share our recommendations for this sprawling metropolis!

This was one of the most fun travel experiences I’ve ever had. Paxi and Rulo were the absolute best guides- they gave so much insight into this beautiful city and showed us sooooooooooo much good food!! Riding through the city at night was a magical experience and I can’t thank them enough for the experience they gave us. We will always remember our special evening together and give this tour allllll the stars. 🌟

Wonderful experience! The food stops were great, and we felt safe on the bikes. The history of Mexico City that they included along the way was a great bonus.

Phenomenal. Mayito was a perfect guide - knowledgeable without being stuffy - a great companion for the day. It’s a nice mix of unpretentious delicious food, history and culture, and a lovely mellow bike in a gorgeous part of CDMX. Definitely book this.

All the tours are the same concept, bikes, food, drinks and exploring Mexico City, but all the routes are through different parts of the city and with different types of food in each one of them.

What makes them different is the following:

Mexico is not Only Tacos: In this tour we explore some of the highlights of Mexico City and 3 neighborhoods that are the most trendy and hip at the moment in the city. We recommend this tour when it is your first time in Mexico and you want to get an introduction to what the city is all about.

Mexico Off the Beaten Track: We visit 3 of the neighborhoods that were the first to emerge in Mexico City and many go unnoticed because they do not hear about them in blogs or in anecdotes from other travelers, however, they have many hidden architectural and gastronomic gems. We recommend this tour to those who have already seen all the highlights and want to learn more about daily life in Mexico.

Night Street Food Bike Tour: On this tour you have the opportunity to try food that you can only get at night, as the food in Mexico City is different depending on the time of the day.
